Fine silver and ivory were swirled on a base of copper green bringing out the color variation and deep veining in these beads. The lighter regions have a beautiful metallic sheen. The small white dots that are seen best in the close-up, are tiny droplets of silver. This set would also look great etched. As shown in the last photo below, etching removes the metallic sheen leaving a lovely light green and soft matte finish. The set includes 9 pebble shaped beads with gently curved surfaces. They were made on 1/16th inch (1.6 mm) mandrels and measure 15-18 mm from hole to hole, 13-15 mm wide, and 9-10 mm thick. The beads were made from Italian Effetre glass. All of my beads are properly annealed for strength and durability.
